• Organizes and coordinates the activities and interaction of information and library centers in the network of the National Information and Library Center;
• Taking steps to strengthen the legal and logistical base, the implementation of mechanization and automation of library processes of information and library centers;
• Ensures strict adherence by all employees and RILC IRC current legislation and state discipline,
• Solving problems of scientific and productive activities and social development of the collective;
• Acts on behalf of his organization, represented by its institutions and organizations;

Biography

Ishmatov Alisher Norkobilovich He was born in 1963 in Samarkand.
Nationality: Uzbek.
Has Higher education. In 1984 he graduated from Tashkent Polytechnic Institute.
Qualifications: Mechanical Engineer
Title: Assistant Professor State awards - Medal “10 Years of Independence of Uzbekistan”

Since 1984 till 1989 he worked as engineer in Institute of Mechanics and Earthquake Engineering Academy of Sciences of the Republic of Uzbekistan.

In 1990 defended candidate dissertation of physic mathematical science.

In 1990 worked as junior scientist Institute of Mechanics and Earthquake Engineering Academy of Sciences.

Since 1990 till 1993 Ishmatov worked as scientist in Institute of Mechanics and Earthquake Engineering Academy of Sciences.

In 1995 decision of higher certification commission awarded him an academic title of Associate Professor.

Since 1993 by 1996 he worked as docent in Department of “Mechanics of construction” of Tashkent Institute of Irrigation and Mechanization of agricultural machinery.

In 1996 to 2001 he worked as Head of the State test center on the Cabinet of Ministers.

From 2001 to 2003 he worked as Deputy Director of the State test center on the Cabinet of Ministers .

From 2003 to 2005 he worked as chief of the branch “Shark” AO Uzbektelecom.

From 2005 to 2006 he worked as Deputy General Director of “Inter-Asia”.

From 2006 to 2007 he worked as chief of information-analytical center, and then he was deputy head of the Institute of Civil Defense Ministry of Emergency Situations of the Republic of Uzbekistan.

Since 2007 he works as director of the National Information and Library Center.

A. Ishmatov married, father of three children.

Duties:

• Bears full responsibility for the entrusted field of work and the content of scientific and production activities subordinate structures and functions;
• Provides continuous monitoring of the work plan of ILC;
• Organizes and prepares the meetings of the Scientific and Methodical Council and the Board of Directors of ILC, participates in the organization of scientific and library activities;
• Oversees the implementation of directives and orders of RILC head, as well as orders, decrees and orders of UzACI on information and library and bibliographic work of ILC and issues shaping their information resources;
• Participates in the preparation of scientific material for information and library activities of ILC;
• Supervises the conduct of training courses for employees of ILC and the organization of refresher courses;
• As the member of committee conducts a systematic review of the major activities ILC;
• Participates in the certification commission of ILC;
• Participates in national and international events related to the activities of ILC;
• Media coverage of RLIC and ILC activities.

In 1971 she graduated from the Tashkent State Pedagogical Institute of Foreign Languages.
